Joint Resolution for a Mail Route
Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa,
That our Senators be instructed and our Representatives requested to use their influence
to procure a Mail Route from the city of Keokuk in Lee County, by way of Sampsons
on String Prairie in Said County, thence to Croton in Lee County to Farmington in
Van Buren County—Iowa
Resolved, That the Secretary of State be requested to forward a copy of this Resolution
to our Senators and Representatives in Congress and a copy to the Post Master General
