To the Honorable the Senate & House of Representatives of the United States in Congress assembled,
The subscribers, citizens of the county of Adams & State of Pennsylvania, Respectfully pray your honorable bodies that the provision, in the Act of Congress of March 3rd 1847, requiring three cents postage to be paid on newspapers, handbills & circulars, when deposited in any post office to be conveyed in the mail, may be repealed
