The undersigned citizens of the County of Erie in the State of New-York, respectfully request your Honourable body, to pass a law, repealing the law of the last session of Congress, respecting postage on newspapers. Our desire is, that newspapers may go free in the mails in the county where they are published, and also to any place out of the county where they are published, if within thirty miles of the place of publication. And your petitioners &c.
