To the Honorable, the House of Representatives in Congress:
The undersigned, residents of the County of Onondaga ^Oswego^, in the State of New York, respectfully represent: That the Act of Congress, passed at its last session, imposing postage upon newspapers within thirty miles of Publication, tends in their judgment greatly to prevent the general diffusion of intelligence, and its repeal would greatly promote the public interest. They, therefore, respectfully ask for its repeal.
