To the Honorable, the House of Representatives in Congress:
The undersigned, residents of the County of Onondaga, in the State of New York, respectfully represent: That the Act of Congress, passed at its last session, imposing postage upon newspapers within thirty miles of Publication, ^and the^ tends in their judgment greatly to prevent the general diffusion of intelligence, and its repeal would greatly promote the public interest.
