The subscribers, citizens of the County of Washington, State of Maryland, respectfully pray your honorable bodies, that the provisions in the Act of March 3, 1847, requiring postage to be paid on all newspapers circulating in the mail within 30 miles of the Office of publication, be repealed, and your petitioners will ever pray, &c.
