To the Honorable the Senate and House of Representatives, of the United States.
Your Petitioners would respectfully represent that a Mail Route is much needed between the following points, to wit: From Rockford in Winebago County and state of Illinois via Kishwaukie P. O. ^north of^ Stillman’s creek and Daysville in Ogle county, and Julet Grove or Lee center in Lee county ^& Ovid^ to Peru in La Salle county. Your petitioners would ^further^ respectfully represent that the inhabitants on the above named route are seriously incommoded for the want of suitable Post Offices and that were a route so established it would be of much importance. Your Petitioners therefore respectfully pray the establishment of such mail route in such manner as you in your wisdom may direct. And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray
