We, your petitioners, Supervisors of the several towns in the county of Chautauqua
in the State of New. York, respectfully request your to reduce the rate of postage on Newspapers sent within thirty miles of the Office
of publication, so that it shall not exceed five cents per quarter for weekly papers
coming, (as to size,) within the limits of the present law, for single postage & at the
same rate for those published more frequently.
