Topsham June 20. 1848My old [friend?]Many thanks for your remembering me so far as to send some documents which I not long
since received. You will perceive that I am now settled in this place & although it
may excite your wonder, I have not only changed up residence since you had knowledge
of me but have had the honor of a degree of D.D. from our old College! Must not that
be a sign that it is soon to expire! By request I send you this petition which you
