A Joint Resolution in relation to the existing Post Office Law
Be it Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, That our Senators
in Congress, be, and they are hereby instructed, and our Representatives requested
to use their exertions to procure the repeal of so much of the existing post Office
Law as requires the pre payment of postage on newspapers not sent from the office
of Publication; also a general reduction of Postage on Newspapers pamphlets and periodical
publications
Resolved further That the Govenor be and he is hereby requested to transmit a copy
of these Joint Resolutions to each of our Senators and Representatives in Congress.
