Postage Reduction
To the Senate & House of Representatives of the United States. 1849The subscribers, inhabitants of the State of Ohio, desire of the present of Congress,
the reduction of the present rates of postage, so that the charge on letters shall
not exceed two cents for any distance, nor on any printed matter over one cent an
ounce & as far as practicable free.
