To the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States,1849.The subscribers, people of Ohio, desire of the present session of Congress, the reduction
of the rates of postage so that the rate on letters shall not exceed two cents for
any distance, nor on any printed matter over one cent an ounce, and as far as practicable
free.
