I cold[called] at the Farmers Bank of Va Today & find — that my Dft[draft] on the D. B. Brown Treasurer P. O. D. for 10,000 Dolls[dollars] dated 7 July 1834 & Endorsed by Wm A. Bradley was discounted at this Bank on the 13th Nov 1843 & the proceeds was paid to my credit this is the only dft[draft] of the amount on the Books in 1834 or 1835 & your letters will reach me at Lewisburg Va
