Dear Sir:
I have no hesitation in giving it as my opinion, that if a post Office cannot be established at the “Oakes,” the one at “Clover Garden,” ought to be removed to that place; nearly ninetenths of the postage paid into the Office at Clover Garden is received from the students of Mr. Binghams Schools. it is also a great inconvenience for the students to mail Letters to be sent East at Clover Garden for further particular inquire of Judge Mangum or my friend A W Venable who can give you all the information necessary.
Yours RespectfullyJ M Palmer P M. W J Brown Esqr 2n Assistant P. M Generall
