We the undersigned Citizens of the Precinct of Oneco Stephenson County Illinois, & forwording & receiving mail matter at the Post office in said place, being desirous of having a more easy & direct Communication opened between this place & other places both in this & the neighbouring States & believing that the same can be had without additional expense to the Post Office Department,

Therefore humbly respresent That there are now, as your Petitioners are informed & believe, three Tri-Weekly mail routes in opperation & terminating at Beloit Rock County Wisconsin from the North, East, & South, & no Mail route whatever west from that place & believing that the public interest as well as the interest of the Post office Department require that a Tri Weekly Mail route Be Established, Commencing at Beloit aforesaid & running West through, so as to see that the Mails passing over the same may supply the Post offices at Harrison Illinois, Campbells Bridge, Rock Grove, Oneco, Winslow & terminating at Shullsburg LaFayete County Wisconsin,

Your Petitioners therefore humbly request & pray that such route as aforesaid discussed be Established by law, & that the Mail route from Rockford Illinois Via: Harrison Campbells Bridge, Rock Grove, Oneco, Winslow Wiota Willow Springs to Mineral Point be abolished

And your Petitioners will ever Pray &c
