A. Joint Resolution for the establishment of a Mail route.
Resolved: By the General Assembly of the State of Iowa
That our Senators and Representatives in Congress be, and they are hereby requested to use their influence to procure the Establishment of a Mail route from Bloomington in Muscatine County, by the way of Tipton in Cedar County, Rome, Anamosa, and James’ Peaks in Jones County, Delhi and Ead’s Grove in Delaware County, Garnerville, the County seat of Clayton, to Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin; And the Secretary of State be instructed to forward a copy of the foregoing Resolution to each of our Senators and Representatives in Congress and to the Post Master General.
