To the Hon Senate & House of Representatives of the U.S in Congress assembled,
The undersigned inhabitants of the County of Rock beg leave respectfully to represent that the Country from Christiana in Dane County via Cambridge in the same County Waterloo in Jefferson County to Columbus in Columbia County is Very destitute of Mail facilities & that the same is thickly settled through out the whole distance.
We therefore pray that Your Hon body will pass a law establishing a mail rout Commencing at Christiana in the County of Dane via Cambridge, Waterloo in Jefferson County, to Columbus in Columbia County, which will be a Continuation of Rout No 4452 from Janesville to Christiana; and Your petitoners will ever pray.
