Your Petitioners Citizens of the Precinct of Rock Grove Stephenson County Illinois,

Humbly represent that they are informed & believe that there are Three Tri-Weekly Mail routes now in opperation & terminating at Beloit from the North, East, & South & no Mail route West, whatever from that place,

And they further represent that the interests of this place & public interests generally as well as that of the ^Post office^ Department require that a Tri1 Weekly Mail route be Established by law, Commencing at Beloit & running west from that place, so that the mails passing over said proposed route shall pass through & supply the Post offices at, ^Harrison^ Horrison Campbells Bridge Rock Grove Oneco Winslow & terminating at Shullsburg La Fayette County Wisconsin & that the roads over which the mail would pass on said route are good & that if the route as proposed were Established [and?] in opperation, it would support itself without additional Charge upon the Post office Department, the first year.

humbly request your Honorable body to pass a law, Establishing a Tri-Weekly Mail route, to Commence at Beloit & running west so that the Mails passing over the same may supply the post offices at ^Harrison^ Horrison Campbells Bridge, Rock Grove Oneco Winslow & terminating at Shullsburg as aforesaid, & that the Mail route from Rockford Via, Horrison, Campbells Bridge, Rock Grove, Oneco, Winslow, Wiota Willow Springs to Mineral Point be abolished,

And your Petitioners will ever Pray &c
