To the Honourable the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States.
We the undersigned inhabitants of the State of Wisconsin, Respectfully petition your Honourable Bodys, to pass an Act establishing a Route for a weekly mail from Geneva at the east end of Geneva Lake in the County of Walworth to Beloit in the County of Rock, by way of Benedicts in the town of Linn south side of Geneva Lake; Douglass’ Corners in the town of Walworth; South Grove in the town of Sharon; Agry’s in the County of Rock, thence to Beloit. The Road from Geneva to Beloit by way of the points named being nearly a strait line as the accompanying draft will show.
And for which your petitioners will ever pray.
