The proposed mail rout as will be seen on the within Platt from Antioch to Beloit
will not vary but a few rods from the Surveyed and present traveled road and with
the exception of the bend to Blevin’s & Solon Mills is as near on a Straight line
as a good practicable rout can be had without an enormous expense the said rout pases through a rich flourishing and populous country rabpidly increaseing and West of Alden they are very distitute of Post Offices they are from 4 to 7 miles North & South from Offices
