That whenever in the opinion of the Governor the Atty[Attorney] General shall not riside at the ^seat of^ Government within the true intent and meaning of the act to which this is an amendment,
The office shall be considered vacant and he shall fill such vacancy as in other cases.
Sect[Section] 2d The said Attorney General shall be allowed the Sum of fifty dollars per annum which shall be in full for stationary postage &c[etc.] and the [late?], attorney General shall be allowed the Sum of one hundred dollars in full for stationary
postage &c for the last two years. This act to be in force from and after its passage.
