An ACT to change the names of certain persons.

Names of persons changed
Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the name of Catharine Marshall, of the county of Morgan, be, and the same is hereby changed to that of Catharine Van Wagener. The name of Adelia A. Scott, is hereby changed to that of Adelia A. Trumble.
Approved, February 26, 1841.
1William H. Henderson introduced HB 253 in the House of Representatives on February 15, 1841, and the House passed it. The Senate concurred on February 24. On February 26, the Council of Revision approved the bill and the act became law.
