Whereas By A Law of the General Assembly passed at Their Session of 1839 & 40 The Term of Holding the Circuit Court for the County of Coles Was Fixed on the third Monday in March & Whereas the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Coles CountyBeing Having Mistaken the Import of the Law Supposing that It Was temporary & Would Only Be In force at the Last Spring term of said Court & that the Next Spring term of the Court Would Commence on the Thursday After the Third Monday in March in March next
& Wheras the Said Clerk of the Circuit Court for Coles County (Laboring Under This Mistake) Has Issued the Writs Summon^s^ Supenas & other process returnable on the Thursday After the third Monday in March Next ^Therefore,^
Sec Sec.[Section] 1. Therefore Be It Enacted By The Sect 1st People of the State of Illinois represented in the general Assembly That All Writs Issued [...?]Summon^s^ Supenas & other process Issued By the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Coles County & returnable on the Thursday After The third Monday in March nest Shall Be Deemed & Held Returnable on the Third Monday Thereof, & shall Be Valid & Legal to all Intents & purposes Any law to the Contrary notwithstanding
