We the undersigned Residents of the County of Dodge & Territory of Wisconsin Respectfully
Request your [...?]Honorable Body, to establish a mail rout from Sheboygan by the way of Mayville & Harrison
to the county Seat of Dodge county those places being on a Direct Line Between the
two points above named which is the most eligible rout for a territorial Road Soon
to be Located[.] Said rout will accommodate many citizens now without mail facilities Besides is the
Shortes and most practicle rout from Sheboygen to Madison all of Which is Respectfully Submited
