To the Honorable the Senate and House of Representatives in Congress assembled
The Undersigned respectfully petition that your honorable body will take into consideration and establish a Mail Route from Southport Wisconsin via Pleasant Prairie, Walkers Prairie, Noxons corners, Liberty, crossing Fox River at the Village of Wilmot, English Prairie, to Richmond in the State of Illinois a distance of about thirty miles and your petitioners would respectfully shew to your honorable body that the above contemplated route is through a rich and flourishing portion of Country and that there is no mail route established on the above route and your petitioners in duty bound will ever pray
