To The Hon. The Post Master Genl of The United States
The undersigned residents of Northern Wisconsin would respectfully represent that by the present arrangement for carrying the mails in this part of the Territory our mail matter meets with great delays before arriving at its destination. We would therefore respectfully petition that a Post route may be established (and put into immediate opperation) running from Watertown Jefferson County by Waupun, Ceresco, Berlin, to Plover Portage and the mail be transported each way as often as once in each week
