Resolved, That the Governor be requested to furnish this

House with all the information in his power, or which he can obtain from the Auditor and Treasurer, or other accounting officers, of the amount due the State Bank and Branches; the amount due on individual security; the amount due for which Mortgages have been executed; the amount due from the late Treasurer, and the amount due from the several late Cashiers, and the probable amount the State will lose by the late decision of the Supreme Court.2
1On December 6, 1834, John D. Hughes introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives. On December 11, Governor Joseph Duncan replied that the State Treasurer would respond with the requested information. On January 22, 1835, Duncan transmitted to the House the report of John Dement, the State Treasurer, and the House tabled the report.
