Resolved, That the Auditor of Public Accounts lay before this House a tabular statement showing the number of acres of land lying in each county in this State, which will become taxable for revenue purpose, in the years 1841, 1842, and 1843.
1William J. Hankins introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives on December 16, 1840, and the House adopted it. On December 18 Levi Davis, auditor of public accounts, responded to this resolution. The House tabled this communication.
