Resolved, That the Auditor of Public Accounts be requested to furnish to this House a statement of the quality of land subject totaxation in each county of this State; and, also, the amount of the State revenue derived by tax on land from each county in the State.
1On December 15, 1836, James H. Ralston introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives, and the House adopted it. On January 4, 1837, the auditor of public accounts submitted a communication in response to this resolution. The House tabled the communication and ordered 500 copies to be printed.
