Resolved, That the Auditor and Treasurer of the State be requested to transmit to this House a statement of the condition of the Treasury of this State.
1On July 11, 1837, John J. Hardin introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives. On July 11, the House received responses from Auditor of Public Accounts Levi Davis and Treasurer John D. Whiteside.
