Resolved, That the Fund Commissioners be directed2 to report to this House, copies of all contracts, respecting sales of State bonds, made by them since the
adjournment of the Legislature in March last.
Also, whether any alterations have been made in said contracts, and if so, what those
alterations are.
Also, if there is any contract, or part of any of the contracts not reduced to writing,
what said contracts or those parts of said contracts are.
1John J. Hardin introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives on December 12, 1839. The House amended the resolution by striking out the word
“instructed,” and inserting in lieu thereof the word “directed.” The House adopted
the resolution as amended.
