Joseph Torrey & Co.
A boot and shoe store that also sold dry goods and groceries, Joseph Torrey & Co. operated from 1838 to 1842. In 1840, partner Franklin T. King resigned and Joseph Torrey ran the business himself until 1842, when he declared bankruptcy.
