Anderson, Isaac
Born: 1813-XX-XX New Jersey
Anderson moved to Sangamon County, Illinois, sometime before 1830. In 1832, he served as a private in Abraham Lincoln's company of the 4th Illinois Regiment of Mounted Volunteers in the Black Hawk War. In 1850, he was working as a teamster and still living in Sangamon County with his wife Fannie and their six children. By 1860, he had moved to Menard County, Illinois, where he was a farmer with $4,000 in real estate.
