Bracken, James

By 1827, Bracken had emigrated along with his brother Robert from Kentucky to settle in a part of Sangamon County, Illinois, that would later become Menard County. In 1829, he married Mary Wright in Sangamon County. Sometime after 1860, he moved to Missouri. Bracken was a farmer.
