Briggs, Robert M.

Robert M. Briggs was a local and state politician associated with the town of Beetown, Wisconsin. When Beetown became a town in 1849, Briggs won election as the first town clerk. In 1849 and 1851 , Briggs represented Grant County in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
