Carman, Merrit M.

Carman served in Abraham Lincoln's company in the Black Hawk War. In 1833, he married Jane Dorrell in Sangamon County, Illinois. In 1840, he lived in Sangamon County with four other individuals in his household, and he was engaged in agriculture.
