Douglass, James

Douglass moved with his parents and siblings to Sangamon County, Illinois, in 1827. In 1831, he married Ellen Ralston, with whom he had three children. Ellen died in 1854, and James remarried to Nancy Dawson Keeling. Douglass was a farmer.
