Fagan, George
Born: 1814-02-19 Christian County, Kentucky
Fagan moved with his family to Sangamon County, Illinois, in 1820. In 1835, he purchased twenty acres of public land north of Springfield. In 1838, Fagan married Ruth Smith, with whom he had six children. In 1850, he owned $3,000 in real estate. In later life, he and wife lived on a farm north of Springfield that his parents purchased in 1830.
