Galbreath, George

Alternate name: Galbraith

Galbreath purchased approximately thirty-two acres of federal land in Adams County, Illinois in 1835 and purchased an additional eighty acres the following year. He served alongside Abraham Lincoln in 1836 and 1837 in the Illinois House of Representatives, where he represented Adams County.
