Goldsby, James B.

Flourished: 1834-05-05 Sangamon County, Illinois

Goldsby served in the War of 1812 before moving from Kentucky to what would become Menard County, Illinois, in 1830. He won election as the first county sheriff in 1839 and held the position until 1844. His wife was Elizabeth Bingley.
