Green, John (IL State Representative)

In July 1837, voters in Calhoun and Greene counties elected Green, a Democrat, to replace William Lane (resigned) as their representative in the Illinois House of Representatives. In August 1838, Green won reelection, serving until 1840. He was not a candidate for reelection in August 1840. In August 1842. Greene County voters returned him to House, where he served until his death in February 1843.
