Harrison, Reuben

Harrison married Parthenia Harrison on May 16, 1804, in Virginia, and the couple had one child before Parthenia died. On November 29, 1810, Harrison then married Barbara A. Harnsberger, with whom he had four more children. In 1818, he moved his family to Kentucky and then settled permanently in Sangamon County, Illinois, in November 1822. A Whig, he won election to the Illinois State Senate in 1842. In 1850, he was a farmer living in Sangamon County, Illinois.
