Enos J. Hazard was a farmer, local government official, state legislator, and early settler of La Grange, Wisconsin. Hazard made a claim for land in La Grange in 1840. Hazard served as chairman of the La Grange Board of Supervisors in 1844 and again in 1850. In 1845 and 1855, he was town clerk, and in 1848, he was town treasurer. In December 1845, he married Celestia Knight. In 1849, Hazard represented La Grange and Walworth County in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
