Hunter, Thomas S.

Hunter's family moved to Sangamon County, Illinois, in 1837. He married Martha Darneille in 1844, with whom he had three children. Hunter hired Abraham Lincoln to represent him in court at least once. In 1850, Hunter was working as a farmer and he owned $320 in real estate.
