Kendall, Sr., William

Alternate name: Kendoll
In October 1824, Kendall moved from Kentucky to Sangamon County, Illinois, in a group that included his married daughter and her family. Kendall settled in the western half of the county, where he was an active member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church. Politically, Kendall was a Whig. He ran unsuccessfully for the Illinois House of Representatives in 1834.
