Lewis, Isaac

Flourished: Coles County, Illinois

Lewis moved from Tennessee around 1827 to settle in Coles County, Illinois. When the county was created, Lewis was elected one of its first county commissioners. In 1832, he served as a lieutenant in the Black Hawk War.
