Martin, Thomas

Born: 1771-1780

By 1830, Martin had emigrated from Kentucky to a part of Sangamon County, Illinois that would later become Menard County. By 1837, if not before, he settled on a farm near the village of Kilbourne on the north side of the Sangamon River. Due to changing county boundaries, his farm would later be incorporated into Mason County.
