Sebree, Preston

Preston Sebree came to Illinois with his family in 1832, settling in Fulton County. In 1850, Sebree was a cooper living in Canton, Illinois, and he owned $1,200 worth of real estate. When the Civil War broke out, Sebree served as a private in Company I of the Fifty-First Illinois Infantry.
