Smallwood, Parmenius

Died: 1851-12-20 Decatur, Illinois

Smallwood married Deborah Brown, with whom he had sixteen children. He was one of the first settlers of what later became Decatur, Illinois. He came to the state in either 1825 or 1826 and built a mill on Salt Creek in 1834.
