Staley, Daniel

Staley married Rebecca Bowen in West Virginia in 1821. They had two children there before moving to western Sangamon County, Illinois, in 1826. Staley's wife died in 1847, and he re-married to Mrs. Hepsy Nipper. Staley built up a large farm that by the time of his death totaled 1,250 acres.
